Information you give me

When you submit the contact form, I collect the details you choose to provide: your name, email address, project type, budget range, and the message you write. If you email me or book a call directly, I receive whatever information you include in that message.

Information collected automatically

This site is hosted on Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel processes basic technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to serve the site securely and reliably. I do not run advertising trackers, and I do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

How I use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential project.
• To prepare quotes, scopes, and proposals you request.
• To keep the website secure and functioning correctly.
• To comply with legal and accounting obligations where required.

I do not use your contact-form details to send marketing emails or newsletters.

Legal basis for processing

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, I process your information on the basis of your consent (which you give by submitting the form) and my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating my business. Where PIPEDA applies, I rely on the consent you provide when you choose to contact me.

Service providers I rely on

I use a small number of trusted providers to run this site and handle enquiries. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service:

• Vercel for website hosting and delivery.
• Brevo to deliver contact-form submissions to my inbox.
• Cal.com if you choose to book a call.

These providers may process data outside your home country. I take reasonable steps to work with providers that offer appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

How long I keep your information

I keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, to deliver and support the project, plus any period required for tax or legal records. If an enquiry does not lead to work, I delete it on request or during periodic cleanups.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email me at hello@byjoellobo.com and I will respond within a reasonable time.

This site does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to function or are set by the hosting platform for security.
